There are mineral hot baths in Polichnitos, Lisvori, Argenos (Megala Therma), Gera and near Molyvos in Eftalou, with waters ranging in temperatures from 40ºC to 90ºC and containing varying amounts and combinations of healing ingredients and radiation (with radiation at 14.7 MACHE, the Eftalou springs are the most radioactive on the island while the Argenos springs are the hottest with temperatures approaching 90ºC).
